As many of you will know, Neil was a kind, caring, and larger than life person who took great pleasure in making other people happy. He truly lit up every room that entered. Whether you knew him for decades or only met him once, he had a unique ability to bond with people instantaneously. He truly was everybody’s best friend and saw the best in everyone. He had a rather chaotic way about him, constantly enjoying his life with his vast array of friends, and still always got to where he needed to be despite his often-unorthodox methods. He was incredibly intelligent, had a love for life, and really didn’t care for sleeping as it massively detracted from his intense socialising schedule. His sudden and unexpected death at the age of 46 shocked family and friends alike, and this loss has profoundly affected many people as he is simply irreplaceable and truly one of a kind.
Whilst he always enjoyed being an entertainer and a joker, one of his true passions was helping people however he could whenever they were in need. In every situation, he just wanted everyone around him to be happy, and would always do the right thing to help others, regardless of the possible consequences to him. Unsurprisingly, it was Neil’s dream that if he was to ever win the lottery, he would set up a charity in order to fulfil his desire to aid people in need wherever possible. Unfortunately, he was never able to achieve this ambition whilst he was still with us, but through this charity we aim to fulfil his dreams and desires with the help of family and friends.
Neil had an enthusiasm, love and zest for life that is truly incomparable with anyone else. This charity would have been his dream and ultimate achievement. He was an immensely positive force in the world and we want to continue his great influence as much as we can in his honour. We hope you will join us on this journey of securing the legacy that Neil deserves by carrying out his desire to help people in need, whilst having some great celebrations and events in the meantime as we all know Neil loved to.
